int\u00e9rimaire conclu entre l\u2019UE et les pays du Mercosur s\u2019applique provisoirement \u00e0 compter du 1er mai 2026.<br \/>Le Mercosur (March\u00e9 commun du Sud) est une organisation r\u00e9gionale d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration \u00e9conomique en Am\u00e9rique du Sud, cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1991 et regroupant l\u2019Argentine, le Br\u00e9sil, le Paraguay et l\u2019Uruguay.<br \/>Le 6 d\u00e9cembre 2024, l\u2019UE et les quatre pays fondateurs du Mercosur ont conclu des n\u00e9gociations en vue d\u2019\u00e9tablir un accord de partenariat \u00e9conomique global.<br \/>En septembre 2025, la Commission europ\u00e9enne a adopt\u00e9 les propositions de d\u00e9cisions du Conseil relatives \u00e0 la signature et \u00e0 la conclusion de\u00a0deux instruments juridiques\u00a0parall\u00e8les\u00a0: l&rsquo;accord de partenariat UE-Mercosur (EMPA) et l&rsquo;accord int\u00e9rimaire sur le commerce (iTA).
